Welcome to the Gateway Nonprofit Events Calendar ... a resource for nonprofit organizations and friends of nonprofits. Gateway's goal is to create a central place where valuable offerings can be viewed simultaneously. You will be able to use the calendar to:

• Learn about Events and Training Opportunities in the Greater Chicago area.
• Publicize your organization's Events and Training Opportunities.
• Avoid scheduling conflicts with other organizations' Events and Trainings Opportunities.

Types of events you will find on the Gateway Nonprofit Events Calendar:

• Institute/In-depth Training

Guidelines for submitting Events and Training Opportunities:

In order that we may develop this resource for a diverse range of nonprofit organizations, educators and trainers throughout the greater Chicago land area, we ask that those who use the Gateway Event and Training Calendar adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Events should be hosted by or of direct relevance to nonprofit organizations. Gateway management will review the postings before they are made public (please allow 2-3 days for your submission to appear) and reserves the right to decline to post events or trainings that appear to be inconsistent with the mission of Gateway.
2. The Gateway Nonprofit Events Calendar is not intended to be a marketing vehicle for institutions whose primary focus is multiple trainings per month, as the quantity of trainings would begin to outweigh the usefulness of the resource. If you are offering multiple sessions of the same training, please include that information under one submission and refer interested persons to your website for full details.
3. The Gateway management staff does not endorse posted events/trainings and or their hosting institution(s). Individuals are encouraged to do their own follow-up and due diligence to ensure that the quality and content of posted trainings is to their own satisfaction.
